PhD Summer School at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
The PhD Summer School in Translation Studies and Intercultural Studies, now in its third edition, is organised by the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. This week-long summer school aims at promoting quality research by encouraging the exchange of ideas and experiences amongst young researchers and providing a forum within which students and lecturers can share interests and experiences. The PhD Summer School offers seminars, workshops and tutorials with internationally renowned academics.
2011 guest speakers: Dr. Fabio Alves, Dr. Martha Cheung, Dr. Deborah Folaron, Dr. Indra Levy, and Dr. Martha Pulido.
Dates: 27 June- 1 July 2011.
Application deadline: 31 May. Limited number of places.
