Han pasado ya seis meses desde el fin de la operación ‘Plomo fundido’, la última y más brutal ofensiva militar de Israel en la franja de Gaza.
Duró 22 largos días y causó la muerte a 1,400 palestinos y palestinas, entre ellos unos 300 menores y centenares de civiles desarmados ajenos al conflicto. En el mismo período, murieron tres civiles y seis soldados israelíes.
En Gaza, millares de personas perdieron su hogar. Empresas y edificios públicos fueron destruidos en bombardeos indiscriminados. Extensas zonas quedaron arrasadas y la economía resultó arruinada.
Cuando pararon los bombardeos y Gaza dejó de aparecer en las portadas de los periódicos, Amnistía Internacional siguió allí para investigar crímenes de guerra cometidos por ambos bandos. Todas las partes violaron las leyes de la guerra al atacar a civiles indiscriminadamente.
En Gaza, hablamos con supervivientes y escuchamos terribles testimonios que hemos recogido en este vídeo. Entre ellos, el de Fatiyha Mousa, cuyos padres y hermanos murieron en un ataque israelí a su casa. O el de Mhamoud Abu Halima, que perdió a su padre y cuatro niños de su familia en otro ataque.
Las víctimas merecen justicia y las autoridades israelíes se han negado a investigar los hechos.
Firma ahora y exige al Gobierno de Israel que coopere con la investigación independiente que ha abierto la ONU para que Fatiyha Mousa, Mhamoud Abu Halima y todas las víctimas puedan obtener justicia.
