It traditionally attracts 600-700 translators, interpreters, linguists, terminologists and educators as well as leading players in the industry from around the world to engage in professional development, global networking and business pursuits. <p></p></span></p><p dir="ltr"><span style="font-size: 10pt; color: #333333; font-family: arial">In August 2008, the FIT World Congress will be held for the first time in <place w:st="on">Asia</place>. Translators Association of China, the only national association in the field of translation in <country-region w:st="on"><place w:st="on">China</place></country-region> representing hundreds of thousands of translators and interpreters, is honored to be the host of the XVIII FIT World Congress.
