CALL FOR PAPERS
The Fedorov Centre for Translation Studies announces the International Conference on Translation Studies The 10th Fedorov Readings, to be held on October 23–25, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Russia.
The range of issues to be discussed will include various aspects of translation and interpreting theory and practice. Presentations may concern any language. The working languages of the Conference are Russian and English.

Theoretical Issues in Translation Studies
Practical Aspects of University Translation Studies
Psychological Aspects of Translation and Interpreting
Literary Translation
Translation and Culture
Informative Translation
Practical Aspects of Teaching Translation and Interpreting
We invite you to submit abstracts and complete papers in Russian or English either via e-mail to Deputy Director Nedialkov Igor at perevod@AK4883.spb.edu or nata@nd4025.spb.edu as attached MS Word files. In your e-mail message Subject line, please indicate The 10th Fedorov Readings. Abstracts may not exceed 1,200 symbols, complete papers – 20,000 symbols. If your paper is not written in English it should be supplied with an English summary not exceeding 800 symbols. Your papers and abstracts should be accompanied with a preregistration form, which should include complete contact information.
The registration fee for non-CIS citizens is 50 €, which includes the publication of both an abstract and a complete paper.
The deadline for abstracts is October 1, 2008 and for papers November 1, 2008.
