منذ مدة (سنوات) قرأت اعتراضات على ترجمة لصحيحي مسلم والبخاري ولا أذكر اسمها أو المترجم
ربما وهو ما أتوقعه أنها ليست هذه ولكنني أذكر الأمر للتثبت

أخي الفاضل الأستاذ حامد
أياً كانت الترجمة، ومهما كان المترجم فهناك دائماً اعتراضات على الترجمة في مجال القرآن والحديث، وسيظل الأمر هكذا إلى أن يرث الله الأرض ومن عليها. ولكن بكل تأكيد هناك ترجمات أشد خطأ من غيرها.

توضيح

(kitab al−fitan wa ashrat as−sa`ah)
chapter 1:...
Book, number 6881:
Zainab bint jahsh reported that allah's apostle (may peace be
upon him) got up from sleep saying: There is no god but allah;
there is a destruction in store for arabia because of turmoil
which is at hand, the barrier of gog and magog has opened so
much. And sufyan made a sign of ten with the help of his hand
(in order to indicate the width of the gap) and i said:
Allah's messenger, would we be perished in spite of the fact
that there would be good people amongst us? Thereupon he said:
Of course, but only when the evil predominates.
Bk 41, number 6882:
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of zainab bint
jahsh with a slight variation in the chain of transmitters.
Bk 41, number 6883:
Zainab bint jahsh, the wife of allah's apostle (may peace be
upon him), reported that one day allah's messenger (may peace
be upon him) came out in a state of excitement with his face
quite red. And he was saying: There is no god but allah; there
is a destruction in store for arabia beciuse of the turmoil

المعترض (طالب علم بريطاني المولد من أصل هندي) يقول إن الترجمة موجهة لمسلمين ضعيفي العلاقة بالثقافة والمفاهيم الإسلامية غالبا... ولهذا فإن هذه الترجمة تعد ضعيفة، ليس لتعمد كاتبها فقد بذلت مكتبة جرير جهدا تشكر عليه ولكن ترجمة كتاب كالصحيحين لغير مسلمين أو مسلمين لم ينشأوا في بيئة إسلامية تتطلب إيصالا موضوعيا للمعلومة وليس ترجمة حرفية
فحتى العرب اليوم يستغلق على بعضهم قراءة الصحيح ويعتمدون قراءة مختصري الزبيدي والمنذري مع شروح البغا والألباني
بينما الترجمة اعتمدت الصحيح حرفيا مجردا من الأسانيد والحواشي
