يبقى دائما توحيد المصطلح هو المشكل الذي لطالما نقع فيه ، وحتى في ترجمة عبارات إن أمكنني أن أقول نوعا ما سهلة .
فحسب رأيي كلتا الترجمات مقبولة:
• دول المغرب العربي
• The M aghreb Countries
• Maroccan Countries
لكن إذا نظرنا إلى الأصح فيهما فتكون الثانية أصح من الأولى وذلك لتفادي الخلط بين "دولة المغرب" و " دول المغرب العربي".
أرجو من الله أن تكون مداخلة مفيدة نوعا ما؟؟؟؟

<strong><font size="5"><font color="#0000ff">السلام عليكم (بعد غياب طويل)<br /><br />بوصفي من المغرب العربي، وتحديدا من تونس، يحق لي أن أدلي بدلوي في هذا الموضوع <img alt=" " src="http://www.wataonline.net/site/uploads/smil3dbd4d4e4c4f2.gif" />. ثم يحق لي مرّة أخرى لأن السائل من المغرب العربي<img alt=" " src="http://www.wataonline.net/site/uploads/smil3dbd4dbc14f3f.gif" />، وقد انضم بلده _ليبيا الشقيقة_  إلى هذا "الحلف" في منتصف فترة حكم الحبيب بورقيبة لتونس عندما أرادت ليبيا أن تنضمّ إلى تونس فتكوّنا دولة عربية إسلامية واحدة (لم يكتب لها العيش إلا يوما واحدا!) ... إذ كان المغرب العربي قبل ذلك يتكوّن أساسا من المستعمرات الفرنسية القديمة الأربع، وهي تونس والجزائر والمغرب وموريتانيا. (ونحن نريد أن تنضم إلينا مصر الحبيبة فيكتمل "النصاب"<img alt=" " src="http://www.wataonline.net/site/uploads/smil3dbd4e398ff7b.gif" /> فما هي إلا امتداد جغرافي للمغرب العربي).<br /><br />وبعد هذه المقدمة أعود إلى الموضوع.<br /> <br />على حدّ علمي، أوّل ما نُقل هذا المصطلح العربي نُقل إلى اللغة الفرنسية (</font><font color="#ff0000">Le Maghreb arabe</font><font color="#0000ff">) وعندنا مجلة في تونس ثنائية اللغة بهذا الاسم، ثم انتقل لاحقا إلى اللغات الاوروبية الأخرى. ويقال "</font><font color="#ff0000">المغرب العربي</font><font color="#0000ff">" و "</font><font color="#ff0000">بلاد/</font><font color="#ff0000">دول المغرب العربي</font><font color="#0000ff">"، والمقابل الإنجليزي المعروف لدينا هو (</font><font color="#ff0000">The Arab Maghreb</font><font color="#0000ff">) و (</font><font color="#ff0000">The Arab Maghreb States</font><font color="#0000ff"> or </font><font color="#ff0000">Countries</font><font color="#0000ff">). أما ترجمة "</font><font color="#ff0000">المغرب العربي</font><font color="#0000ff">" بــ(</font><font color="#660000">Moroccan countries</font><font color="#0000ff">) فهي ليست ترجمة سخيفة فحسب _واعذروني يا إخوة على الصراحة الجارحة (وهذا من طبع أهل المغرب العربي)_ تنمّ عن ضعف شديد في الترجمة، بل هي جهل بها. ذلك أن كلمة (</font><font color="#ff0000">Morocco</font><font color="#0000ff">) هي المقابل الإنجليزي لكلمة "</font><font color="#ff0000">المغرب</font><font color="#0000ff">". والمغرب، حتّى لمن معرفته الجغرافية محدودة جدّا، هي دولة ضمن دول المغرب العربي، وليست المغرب العربي كله، ولا هي تنتسب إلى مملكة "</font><font color="#ff0000">المغرب</font><font color="#0000ff">" حتّى ننعتها كلها بـ(</font><font color="#ff0000">Moroccan</font></font></strong><strong><font size="5"><font color="#0000ff">).<br /><br />أما المتسبب في السؤال (وليس من طرحه) فهو أخونا الأستاذ الدكتور حسن غزالة _سامحه الله_ وقد كان زميلا لي في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية في جامعة أم القرى بمكة المكرمة. وكان قد انضم إلى قسم اللغة الإنجليزية في أم القرى _وأحسبه لا يزال هناك_ قادما من ليبيا عبر الأردن. <h1>اخي الدكتور العبيدي :<br /><br />كان من الممكن ابداء وجهة نظرك دون تجريح او استخفاف , فالترجمة كما تعلم ليست شيئا منزلا بل وجهات النظر فيها تتباين وتتنوع حسب ثقافة الشخص وتحصيله التعليمي ووووالخ.  ثم ان كانت لديك ملاحظات على هذه الترجمة او حتى على الكتاب بأكمله , فلماذا لم تبدها عندما أعطاك الدكتور حسن غزالة نسخة من الكتاب المذكور عندما كنتما تعملان سويا في جامعة ام القرى؟!!! </h1><h1>ولكم جزيل الشكر</h1>

<strong><font color="#0000ff" size="5">أخي (alisaud) يا من ليست له أية بيانات عن اسمه أو صفته أو عمله في صفحة العضوية سوى أنه اشترك بتاريخ 9يناير 2008: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله تعالى وبركاته<br /><br />ورد في ردك الآتي:<br /><br /></font></strong><div class="comText"><h1><font style="background-color: #ffff00">اخي الدكتور العبيدي :<br /><br />كان من الممكن ابداء وجهة نظرك دون تجريح او استخفاف , فالترجمة كما تعلم ليست شيئا منزلا بل وجهات النظر فيها تتباين وتتنوع حسب ثقافة الشخص وتحصيله التعليمي ووووالخ.  ثم ان كانت لديك ملاحظات على هذه الترجمة او حتى على الكتاب بأكمله , فلماذا لم تبدها عندما أعطاك الدكتور حسن غزالة نسخة من الكتاب المذكور عندما كنتما تعملان سويا في جامعة ام القرى؟!!! </font></h1><h1><font style="background-color: #ffff00">ولكم جزيل الشكر</font></h1></div><br /><br /><br /><strong><font color="#0000ff" size="5">باختصار يا أخي الكريم، <br /><br />(1)  أنا لم أجرّح ولم أستخف بأحد. لقد كان تعليقي أساسا على الترجمة وليس على "المترجم". ثم ليس هناك مجاملة في تقييم أي عمل، سواء أكان ترجمة أو رسالة علمية، أو بحثا مُعَدا للنشر. الذي يحكم لأيّ عمل أو عليه هو مدى جدّيته والتزامه بقواعد ذلك العمل وشروطه. ليس كل من هبّ ودبّ مترجم. صحيح ان هناك اختلافا في وجهات النظر في الترجمة، ولكن لا ينبغي لهذا الاختلاف أن يميّع النص الأصلي ويحرّفه عن معناه. فالترجمة لها قواعدها وشروطها ومؤهلاتها وليست سائبة لكل "متعلم" للغة الأجنبية، كما هو الحال في المشرق. المترجم في بلدي _على سبيل المثال_ يُحلـّـف مثله مثل الطبيب، لأن أي خروج عن المعنى قد يتسبب في مشاكل كبيرة، خاصة عند ترجمة الوثائق الرسمية والقضائية والقانونية.<br /><br />(2) لا يليق بشخص لم يكتمل تحصيله العلمي أن يبدأ عملا ما قبل أوانه، كما لا يليق بشخص ما أن يخوض في عمل ليس من اختصاصه. <br /><br />(3) لقد طـُـلب مني إعداد تقرير عن كتاب الدكتور حسن عندما كنت في جامعة أم القرى ففعلت، والدكتور حسن يعرف هذا ويعرف رأيي في كتابه وآراء كل دكاترة قسم اللغة الإنجليزية هناك، وقد قلت في مداخلتي السابقة اني لن أتحدث في هذا الموضوع في غيابه عن هذا المنتدى. وللعلم، لقد عدّل الدكتور حسن كتابه عدّة مرّات وأعاد نشره بناءا على ملاحظات عديدة.<br /><br />والسلام،،،<br /><br /><font color="#ff0000"><u>ملاحظة</u>: قد أفتح قريبا منتدى للنقاش والتعليق على ترجمات منشورة دون ذكر أسماء، وسيلاحظ الإخوة والأخوات كم أن "الترجمة" (ومن ورائها بعض دور النشر) مهنة سائبة في عالمنا العربي. </font>  </font></strong>
